The holidays are upon us!

Around this time of year, the Roger Wood Foods family is working diligently smoking an array of meats for all of your holiday dinners.

At the Roger Wood Foods plant in Savannah, we smoke turkey wings, turkey tails, turkey drums, turkey necks, hocks, pig tails, shanks and pork neck bones. If you are unsure how to use these items in your Thanksgiving dinner,  our advice is to let them marry with soups, green beans, collards, cabbage and other stewed items. 

Smoked meats are the secret ingredients that make your collard greens go from “Those were good…” to “Holy smoked meats can I have your recipe?!” The hearty flavors intertwine with your favorite side dishes in a way that is indescribable.

Who says turkey and ham are just meant to be sliced and laid on a platter? Go ahead and put them in other Thanksgiving dishes too. You won’t regret it and neither will your guests.
