The Savannah Music Festival (SMF) is Georgia's largest musical arts
festival and one of the most distinctive cross-genre music festivals
in the world. SMF is building a robust history on its devotion to
living, vibrant musical traditions, regularly presenting commissioned
works, unique and imaginative productions and rare regional appearances
by renowned artists in jazz, classical, blues, bluegrass, gospel
and other styles of American and international roots music.

America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia was established in 1981
as a locally inspired, volunteer-driven non profit food bank. Our
community-building organization serves twenty-one counties in southeastern
Georgia with the mission of feeding hungry people and strengthening
communities.

Each year, in communities all across the United States and Canada,
families, friends, neighbors and teams from local businesses and
national companies come together for The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society's (LLS's) Light The Night Walk events to bring help and hope
to people battling blood cancers.

The Buddy Walk was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society
in 1995 to bring together a wide range of concerned individuals to
reach out to friends, family, and co-workers to promote awareness
and inclusion for people with Down Syndrome and to raise funds for
local and national education, research, and advocacy programs. This
is the Fourth Annual Buddy Walk Festival for the Lowcountry Down
Syndrome Society.

Sponsored by the Savannah Morning News, Newspapers in Education provides papers to teacher of all grades and subjects to use in the classroom.
