Savor our traditional Lumber Jack Sausage smothered in warm cream cheese rolled up in a crescent roll. Only takes 15 minutes!


1 roll of Crescent Rolls
1 lb. Lumber Jack Sausage – sliced
1 block of Cream Cheese


1. Lay rolls onto baking sheet.
2. Place a dollop of cream cheese in middle of each roll.
3. Place sausage slices on top of cream cheese.
4. Roll up crescent rolls.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes.

Sausage Rolls origin is not exactly certain, but one thing is for sure, the United Kingdom has perfected and treasured them. The bakery chain Greggs sells around 2.5 million sausage rolls per week,[3] or around 140 million per year.[4]  

At 140 million per year, they must be something special. Here at Roger Wood, we like to make recipes with busy people in mind so instead of using traditional puff pastry, we use pre packaged crescent rolls. Cheating? Yes but still oh so good and super easy to put together. The cream cheese added is an optional feature, but it’s one you won’t regret. The warm cream cheese paired with the sausage is to die for.
